The Hercules City Council voted to approve an
  amendment to the food services ordinance to
  reduce the use of polystyrene materials in
  Hercules.  The Friends worked for several years
  to make this change, which was approved
  unanimously by the City Council.   In this
  process we also committed ourselves to
  encourage citizens to recycle as much as possible.

  Vehicle Inhabitation Restriction

  Vehicles, particularly but not limited to recreational
  vehicles and campers, are not permitted to be
  inhabited within the City of Hercules.

  Rationale: Inhabiting vehicles is not safe and
  creates a potential health risk to the City
