The Glover Group Plein Air Painters Exhibition

  Beginning June 21st and running through July 31st,
  the G.G.P.A. Painters group will be showcasing
  works by celebrated artists Anita Roger-Fields, Susan
  Kendall, Clair Finne, Mary Spain, Maureen Angelo and
  Iris Sabre at our Hercules Public Library.

  Plein air painting is making a huge comeback in California
  some 75 years after the Early California Impressionists
  dominated the California art scene, Following in the
  tradition of the French Impressionists and Post
  Impressionists such as Monet, Cezanne and Van Gogh,
  painters are dragging their boards, canvases, and
  French easels into the hills in record numbers.
