The Original Cinerama movies were made with three c35 mm cameras and a seperate 7 channel surround sound track.
      
The following are some images from my library about the original three camera
Cinerama movies. As an instand fan, I collected all the programs and postcards.
As an employee, I coveted all the treasures discarded by management.

The second Cinerama roadshow featured a vacation exchange of couples
living in Europe and the United States.

"Windjammer" was yet another three strip movie process that
eventually released as a Cinerama presentation.

 
 

The "Seven Wonders" seemed to cover the 700 wonders of the
ancient and natural world.

 In "Search" Cinerama's magic eyes took you to the mountain capitol in Tibet.

                    

 
 

Cinerama also went to the South Pacific. Its three magic eyes placing you in a face to face encounter with Polynesian cultures.

                 


                           
 
 

In 1962 Cinerama told a story for the first time ... and what a better place
than the fairyland of central Europe.


 

The three camera process was never better utilized than in the action packed
adventure set across the American western landscape.
